Goa - A paradise of India

Goa, also known as the party goers paradise has much more than the beach raves and beer. With the western ghats to the west and Arabian sea to the east , this jewel of India is a paradise by it self.

The western ghats offer the mesmerizing Dudhsagar , the vast flora & fauna and awesome trekking opportunities. The perennial waterfalls adore the Ghats during monsoons offering the picnickers and trekking enthusiast’s breathtaking sights.  The beaches of south with rocky mountains bracing the waves is exotic. The forts of Cabo de Rama and Vagator provide you the perfect spot to spend time with your loved ones.

This culturally rich state is dotted with temples, churches and mosques of historic importance. The Bom basilica of Old Goa along with other churches in vicinity and the  Mangueshi Temple of Ponda with the numerous temples around signify the diversity of the Goans.  Goa lights up almost for every festival; Christmas, Eid, Chaturthi, Diwali, Easter, Ramzaan , Onam and so on..

The food , unique and heavenly, makes the taste buds go nuts… Fish curry rice, Raechado mackerel, prawns pulao, Crab xecxec, chicken vindalo …. a mix of the east and west.  The street food too is simply amazing; ros omelet, cutlet pav, chouris pav, omlete pav…. All fullfiling…

To top this up, you don’t need to have your own transport. With rented bikes and self driven cars Goa becomes accessible to one and all. The humble Goenkars are one of the most hospitable people in the world.

So come. Enjoy and make peace with nature.
